I went to Houston’s on Sunday night for dinner. No, I’m not talking about the City. I’m talking about the restaurant located at Citicorp Center in Midtown Manhattan. It’s one of my favorite places to dine when I’m traveling to New York for business (or pleasure). On this trip, however, I noticed something new. A great idea for those who own a restaurant, coffee shop or bar…
I’m sure you’ve heard of advertising above (or in) urinals. We tend to see them at trendy bars or restaurants, usually located in highly populated urban cities. Well, Houston’s puts a spin on that. Instead of advertisements, they post the front page of the New York Times, which is changed daily.
What a great service for those on a date and don’t know what to talk about or for those attending a business luncheon or dinner and want to impress others at the table. I, for one, learned a great deal…although it didn’t help me land a multi-million dollar project…
